CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of DuPage County, Inc. is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization with a mission to recruit, train and support volunteer citizen advocates in effectively speaking in the best interest of abused, neglected and dependent children within DuPage County's juvenile and family court system.
In order to provide this free service to children in our community (and at no charge to the tax payers), CASA annually fundraises via special events. The two major events put on each year are the Superheroes Gala in October and the Annual Superheroes Golf Outing in May. These events are held with the intention of raising awareness and funds to continue our program because CASA believes every child has the right to a safe, permanent, nurturing home.
CASA's annual Champions of Hope Golf Outing will be held on Monday, May 23, 2016 at Arrowhead Golf Club and Banquets in Wheaton. Golfers are welcomed beginning at 11:30 am with a bag check, buffet lunch and an opportunity to participate in "score improvement" games. Golfers are sent out for a shotgun start at 1:00 pm and play an 18-hole scramble. After a delightful day on the course, guests are welcomed to the clubhouse for cocktails, dinner, a short program and auction.

The Annual Superheroes Gala is held in autumn each year. Entertainment, cocktails, appetizers, dinner, silent auction and live auction make up the evening. After the program presentation, socializing and friendship fills the air as guests take seriously their commitment to being Powerful Friends for DuPage County's kids.
